|From the Chief|
It is my great honor to able to serve as section chief of our great section throughout the next few months! SR-6 has been my home for many years and with the help of everyone in our section we will be able to continue the great traditions we have held close to us.
In just two months hundreds of Arrowmen from around the section will be gathering at Camp Yocona on April 19th to begin the 2013 All American Conclave. This Conclave is "made in America" and is going to draw on a lot of the traditions America is known to have. One of the big things that Arrowmen need to do now is begin registering for this event. By registering before March 1st you can save $5 and only pay $37 for a full weekend of food, program, and great fellowship. Click here to register.
For those who have never been to a Conclave here is a quick idea of what you should expect this year. Friday night we are going to have an opening campfire, cracker barrel, and a good time to begin meeting other people from around the section. Saturday morning is when you either attend our newly developed training program or compete in ceremonial competition. After lunch the fun continues with quest games against lodges, AIA competitions, powwow, an awesome dinner, and finally a closing campfire. Sunday morning concludes with giving out awards that were earned over the weekend and also the election of the 2014 section leadership.
I hope to see you at Conclave this year, I'm really looking forward to it! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me an email.
Yours in service,
