OA at the Jamboree PDF Print E-mail
Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the past year, you should have heard about the 2010 National Jamboree. In less then a few days, a tent city composed of 45,000 Scouts and Scouters will rise and disappear upon the grounds of Virginia at Fort A.P. Hill. Here, memories that will last a lifetime will be shared upon the climax of the BSA’s centennial celebration.

Our Order contributes significantly to the Jamboree’s program including; an American Indian Village where you can learn about Native American customs and traditions, the OA Service Corps will help with physical arrangements of different things at the Jamboree, and finally there is a daily show that will be seen by every troop entitled "The Mysterium Compass." Also, a recent program called "PACEsetters-Leaders for Life” will promote physical fitness within Scout’s daily lives.

The section leadership extends a special thank you to those Arrowmen serving in these, and other, staff positions. Whether you’re a participant, contingent leader, staff member, or just touring the area, please come be a part of the celebration this summer!
